The Mississippi Genealogy and History Network (MSGHN) is an all new multi-listing website devoted to the study and publication of Mississippi Genealogy and History. We strive to provide this information free to all interested individuals. Please see our Mission Statement for more information on our vision for MSGHN.
Our MSGHN County and Project Directors are independent genealogists, historians and web developers. They development and maintain their own counties and projects, conduct their own research and post the information that they have developed. There are no standard formats and few rules are created by MSGHN, this allows the County Directors and their assistants to focus on the mission of providing access to genealogy information to you.
The business of providing web space and consolidated listings for the Mississippi counties and projects is managed by the Executive Council. There are no elections or politics of any kind on MSGHN, leaving all of our members free to do what they do best.
If you have an interest in Mississippi genealogy or history and would like to consider becoming a County or Project Director or Assistant Director, please visit our Volunteers page.
You may contact the MSGHN Executive Council at services@msghn.org.
